Camp Kawau 2011

In the last week of Term 1, Rooms 18 ,17 and 21 went to Camp Bentzon on Kawau Island in the Hauraki Gulf. Camp Bentzon is named after the man, who gave the land for the camp.

We had an awesome time. We went sailing, fishing, kayaking, orienteering, confidence course, bivouac building, and raft building. We had excellent parents helping us on camp. Mr Cook, Mr Hartstone, Mr Stainton, Mr Salmon, Mr Walding, Mr Aukett, Mrs Vent and Mrs Pool, thank you very very much. We had a great time. Thanks for serving breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Thanks also for being fantastic team leaders and activity leaders.

Camp Bentzon on Kawau Island was the best!
