Pattern Projects

PATTERN PROJECTS TERM 2 

At the end of the term we got into groups of one, two or three to create a pattern project. We had to choose a pattern theme and research about it. The most popular themes were animals and space. We could present it on either a chart, fold-out or keynote on the desktop. We also had to present a song or poem along with the presentation. When we had finished our projects, we shared them with the class and we were marked by Mrs Gunson from one to twenty.

TRANSIT OF VENUS On Wednesday the 6th of June, our class went to the Town Basin to try and see the Transit of Venus. When we arrived we had to wait awhile, because there were too many clouds in the sky and we wouldn't of been able to see anything. Hunter got to be in the Advocate and some of us got to be in the Leader because there were some photographers there. They took photos of us. Did you know that the next Tr

ansit of Venus will not happen for another 105 years? So this was a great chance for us. Unfortunately, because of the condition of the clouds and the weather we didn't get to see it.
